Privacy Policy

Mi Vista is operated by Mi Vista LLC (“Mi Vista,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions, privacy requests and deletion requests can be sent to support@themivista.com.

Depending on the features you use, we collect or process:

• Your account identity and email address, plus optional profile information.
• Reminders and information you enter, including people and other details, dates, notes, amounts, recurrence and notification choices.
• Your phone number and a record of your SMS consent if you choose text reminders.
• Subscription and payment status and payment-processor identifiers. Full payment-card information is handled by Stripe or our payment processor and is not stored by Mi Vista.
• Optional connected Google account and Google Calendar information, described below.
• Necessary cookies and local browser storage used for account sessions, saved setup progress, preferences and drafts.
• Standard request, security and error logs used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service. These may include technical details such as time, browser or device type, network address, requested page and error context.

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. With the requested Google Calendar permission (calendar.events), Mi Vista accesses the connected Google account email and Calendar event information needed for sync: event title, description or notes, dates and times, recurrence, status, event identifiers, and selected-calendar and account connection metadata.

Mi Vista uses Google data only to:

• Associate the Google connection with your authenticated Mi Vista account.
• Provide the optional, user-controlled two-way Google Calendar sync.
• Create, update and delete Google events created by Mi Vista from your Mi Vista reminders when outbound sync is enabled.
• Import and display events from the Google calendar you select when inbound sync is enabled.

Mi Vista uses Google user data only to provide and improve these user-facing Google Calendar features, which you can see and control in the app. We do not use Google user data for any other purpose, including advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, research, credit or lending decisions, or developing unrelated products.

Mi Vista does not edit or delete unrelated Google events. It only updates or deletes Google events that Mi Vista created from Mi Vista reminders.

Sharing and transfer of Google user data. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share or transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers. We transfer Google user data only: (a) to the hosting and database providers that store it on our behalf, as necessary to provide the Google Calendar features above; (b) as necessary to comply with applicable law; (c) for security purposes, such as investigating abuse; or (d) as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and only after obtaining your explicit prior consent.

Human access. No one at Mi Vista reads your Google user data unless you give us explicit permission for specific items (for example, when you ask for support), it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or it is required to comply with applicable law.

Mi Vista’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Mi Vista does not use Google Workspace API data — raw, aggregated or derived — to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, and does not use it for targeted or personalized advertising. Mi Vista does not send Google Calendar data, or answers derived from it, to any third-party AI provider. Section 6 explains exactly how that is enforced.

Settings provides separate switches for sending Mi Vista reminders to Google Calendar and importing events from Google Calendar. You can turn either direction off or disconnect Google at any time.

Disconnecting Google stops future Google access and sync. Information previously imported into Mi Vista remains in Mi Vista until you delete the imported reminder or information, or delete your Mi Vista account.

Mi Vista Companion answers are computed on our own servers from the records in your account. One optional step uses an external AI service to improve the wording of an answer that has already been computed: your question, a short summary of your own reminders and the computed draft are sent to the Lovable AI Gateway, which serves the model google/gemini-3.7-flash. This is the only place in Mi Vista where information is sent to an AI provider. No conversation history is stored or resent, and each request is handled on its own.

Google Calendar data is excluded from that step. If any reminder in scope for your question came from Google Calendar, is still linked to a Google Calendar event, or cannot be proven to have come from somewhere else, Mi Vista answers that question entirely on its own servers and makes no external AI request at all — the question, the summary and the draft are not sent anywhere. If Mi Vista cannot verify where your records came from, it takes the same safe path and answers locally.

There is one honest limit: this boundary applies to information Mi Vista sends. If you personally type or paste calendar details into a Companion question about otherwise local records, that text is part of your question. We do not claim absolute isolation.

We describe our own practices here. We do not claim that our AI provider or its upstream model provider retains nothing, or that they exclude data from model training; those are their terms, not statements we can make on their behalf. Until Mi Vista holds written provider terms covering Google Workspace data, the exclusion above stands.

External assistants. If you connect Mi Vista to an outside assistant such as ChatGPT, any reminder connected to Google Calendar is not available through that connection: it is not listed, cannot be opened by name or identifier, and cannot be changed, completed or deleted from there. We apply this deliberately broadly — it covers events imported from Google, reminders you created in Mi Vista that we sync out to your Google calendar, and anything whose origin we cannot confirm — so more is held back than strictly required. Everything held back continues to work normally in the Mi Vista app and website. What an outside assistant does with the reminders it is allowed to see is governed by your agreement with that assistant's provider.

Voice input. The microphone button in Companion uses your device or browser's own speech recognition. Mi Vista does not record, receive or store audio. Some browsers process speech on their own servers under their own privacy terms.

Video avatar. Mi Vista includes an optional video-assistant area. It is not enabled on this service; no avatar provider is configured and no information is sent to one. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

We use information to provide and secure your account; save, organize and deliver the reminders you request; provide optional Family, Companion, Calendar, email and SMS features; process subscriptions; respond to support requests; prevent abuse; diagnose errors; and meet legal obligations.

These broader uses do not apply to Google user data. Google user data is used only as described in sections 3 to 5.

We may share information only:

• With service providers and subprocessors needed to run Mi Vista, such as hosting and database, payment, email and SMS providers, and the AI gateway described in section 6, as applicable to the features you use.
• When required by law, legal process, or a reasonable safety, fraud-prevention or security need.
• In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
• When you direct us to share information or give us permission.

Mi Vista does not sell personal information, provide it to data brokers, use it for credit decisions, or use it for targeted or personalized advertising.

Google user data is shared or transferred only as described in section 4; the sharing purposes above do not extend it any further.

Text reminders are optional. If you opt in, we collect the mobile number you provide and a record of your consent so we can send the reminders you asked for.

• Mi Vista does not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
• Mobile information may be shared only with service providers and subprocessors as necessary to deliver the SMS messages you requested, or where required by law. Those providers may not use it for their own marketing.
• Message frequency varies based on the reminders you create or enable.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time, and HELP for help.
• SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or of using Mi Vista.
• You can manage or turn off text reminders at any time in Settings → Reminder delivery.

Our Terms of Service describe the text messaging program in full.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, including encrypted transport and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We do not claim certifications, audits, HIPAA compliance or specific encryption-at-rest standards that we have not demonstrated.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide Mi Vista, satisfy legal obligations, enforce agreements and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary with the type of information and why we hold it.

You can delete reminders, including reminders created from imported calendar events, from Mi Vista; disconnect Google in Settings; and delete your Mi Vista account in Settings. Disconnecting Google stops future access but does not by itself delete information already imported into Mi Vista. Delete those items in Mi Vista or delete your account. You may also email support@themivista.com for a privacy or deletion request.

Mi Vista is not intended for children. Consistent with our Terms, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.

We may update this policy as Mi Vista changes. We will update the date at the top and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the service.
